Obligation Bride Mail Order Brides of Pine Ridge edition by Susannah Calloway Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews

  • Great story. I really enjoyed the characters. It well written, sad at times but a great ending. You will enjoy reading now their relationship developed. Happy reading.
  • A great book. A young man had saved his Mother from a fire getting burned and scared. He was befriended by the Sheriff who taught him how to be a lawman. The Sheriff had posted an advertisement for a Bride and a young lady had answered the advertisement so she could better her life. Finding that the Sheriff who was to marry her had been killed just before she arrived trying to help the scarred man. The thieves had lost some of their family and vowed to get even. A must read for those who enjoy historical western romance kindle books from at a special price and from a delightful author who keeps me entertained throughout the entire book before putting it down.
  • 3 STARS for this western mail order bride that the COVER hints at a beauty & beast story, but this is more a well written novella that only happens to have a very scarred face man whose friend dies while protecting him. Our hero is given a dying request to take care of his mail order bride who arrives in the middle of the funeral. Finally as we wait for the bad guys to return, we watch our hero & heroine react to each other.

  • The story, Obligation Bride, tells of a woman who works sixteen hours, six days a week just to live a meager life, she hopes to make her life better. She writes to a man, a sheriff, and rides a train out west to become a Mail order bride. Well told.
  • This is a very good and enjoyable storyline about loving someone for themselves and trust in God and love each other
  • Well Susannah Calloway has written about another Mail Order Bride, this one from New York. The young lady has worked sixteen hours a day in a factory. She is barely getting by. For entertainment she reads discarded newspapers. In one of the papers she finds an ad that she is willing to answer. Read on to discover what happens next. Enjoy the story. I did!!!!!
